个人简介：
李平华，博士、教授、博士生导师。2003年于山东师范大学获植物学博士学位；2003年至2012年先后在美国伊利诺伊州立大学、纽约州立大学、康奈尔大学及康奈尔大学/鲍伊斯汤普森 (BTI) 研究所从事博士后、助理研究员研究工作；2012至2013年于中国热带农业科学院任研究员，2014年入职山东农业大学农学院。2011年获BTI研究所Lawrence Bogorad 分子生物学奖，2013年入选国家海外重点人才工程青年项目，2015年入选山东省“泰山学者攀登计划”。
研究方向：
课题组主要以C4作物玉米为研究材料，利用正反向遗传学﹑分子生物学、细胞生物学以及生物信息学相结合的方法，系统研究密植条件下玉米株型建成，C4光合启动过程中基因表达调控变化，为全面理解、利用C4光合特性，进行玉米耐密高光效育种提供理论基础。
